Irwindale Speedway Drag Racing

Test your drag racing skills at Thursday Night Thunder on Irwindale Speedway's 1/8 mile drag strip.  This event is open to all club members that want to try their hand at racing their cars in a safe, controlled environment.

You are welcome to race or just be a spectator.  It's $40 to race and $20 to spectate.  You will need to purchase your tickets directly from the Irwindale website HERE.  The gates open at 4pm with racing starting at 5pm.  Please plan on arriving around 4pm as the track will get busy quickly.

After scorching your tires (or just watching) you're welcome to join the group at 8pm for dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory just down the street from the event (pay on your own). 

If you have a performance car (Model X or S performance or Plaid, or a Model 3 or Y performance) you will be required to wear a certified racing helmet to participate.  Here's an Amazon LINK for an approved helmet. 

Please both register for the event on the Irwindale website at the link above and RSVP with the link below so we can know how many people will attend for dinner reservations.
