Mount Wilson Drive and Lunch

Start your Sunday off with a beautiful mountain drive through the hills to the top of Mount Wilson.  This two hour round trip drive will give you breathtaking views of Los Angeles and the Angeles National forest.  Sign up for the optional boxed lunch from Mendocino Farms and enjoy some great food while overlooking the city.

We will meet in La Canada Flintridge at 10:30am for a socially distant cars and coffee at Starbucks before heading out at 11:30am to the top of the mountain.  We'll sit at the open air picnic site and take in the views as we eat our gourmet lunches.  You can then optionally hike around the area before heading back down the hill.

The drive is 40 miles round-trip from our starting location up a steep mountain so please arrive with enough charge to get back to your location.

Please RSVP for the event and choose your lunch option by August 27th.  One Forest Service Day pass is required per car to park.
